![]() ![]() As a freelancer, you can see if there’s any conflicts out there on the planet. Eventually you’ll be able to choose your faction, or just work as a freelancer (like the default banner). You could have your own miniature ship (like the ones that zipline in grunts in MP matches) to fast travel around a planet. What if there was a physical representation of the black market? Like, you’d actually have to find it and go there to buy illegal items, like Hop Up attachments, rare camo/Pilot abilities like Holo and Phase Shifting gear, exotic Titan upgrades like Nuclear Eject or the ability to choose exactly where you want your titan to fall, and even the rarest weapons on the Frontier, like the R-401, Triple Take (I assume the Double Take would still be the main weapon in the future, a Triple Take looks like it would take a LOT of resources to be a common gun), Wingman Elite, or one of those golden weapons in Apex with all their tricked out stats, attachments and stuff. You could do so many activities on the ship, you could multi link a pilot simulation session with multiple players in sim pods (and virtually play legit Titanfall matches on maps like Glitch and War Games), or run the Gauntlet and see other players’ best times. Your Titan could be stored there, and you could request Titanfall whenever you wanted if you got caught in a battle unprepared. Imagine if there was a giant carrier spaceship hovering high above each island, acting as a hub for all those on the planet’s server. We can go one step further and make it so that the Apex maps aren’t actually accessible but merely an easter egg in the background on their planets, and there could be an “entrance” building or station or something outside the arena, that would allow you to immediately switch over to the Apex Legends game if you owned it, like the Battlefield series did. The setting would probably be tied in with Apex (as I don’t see Apex being abandoned for an MMO), and since you can’t visit Typhon (for obvious reasons) the planets would probably be Demeter, Harmony (we haven’t actually seen Harmony in full yet, only mentioned), and the planets that house the King’s Canyon and World’s Edge maps. Imagine having insane customisation options for your personal Titan travelling with you, and a giant open world on a planet with a link to other planets via a cutscene of ship jumping. It started off as a shower thought for me, but then I thought about it further: there’s so much stuff in Titanfall 1/2 that can’t be explored because an FPS game is way too small for that, we need a bigger game. ![]()
